VOLUNTEERING AT THE Y

Volunteers are welcome at the Y and we urge new members to get involved. You may help with programs, events, serve on a committee, or join one of our branch councils. We are always grateful for the assistance and need people with a wide range of skills and interests to help us meet the needs of all we serve. Stop by your nearest branch and ask how you can join our team of volunteers.

WHAT IS NATIONWIDE MEMBERSHIP?

We are dedicated to ensuring our facilities, programs and services are open and welcoming to all. As part of this effort, we are proud to offer our members access to Y facilities across the United States that participate in Nationwide Membership. Nationwide Membership enables you to visit any participating Y’s in the United States through membership at your primary Y. This is an essential part of our mission to strengthen communities. To find a Y in your area, visit ymca.net.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE AT THE YMCA?

At the Y, we are for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Y is an organization open to all people: men, women, girls and boys of all ages, all races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientation, physical and mental abilities and financial circumstances. All our branches and every program embraces diversity, reflecting the needs and composition of the communities we serve.
