BAYSIDE FAMILY YMCA

New Equipment, Same
Commitment to Quality Care

As we move into summer, there's a noticeable sense of progress across the Greater Providence YMCA. From facility upgrades to expanded programs, we're continuing to invest in the spaces and services that matter most to our members.

Over the past year, we've focused on reinvesting in the spaces where our community comes together. We transitioned to a professional cleaning company, hired a full-time facilities director, and aggressively pursued outside funding. These efforts have allowed us to tackle long-overdue improvements across the association—from a new elevator at our East Side/Mt. Hope Y to a full restoration of the outdoor pool at the Bayside Y.

But keeping our buildings in shape is just the beginning. We want every visit to the Y to feel inspiring—from the programs we offer to the equipment you use. That's why I'm thrilled to share that starting in July, all six of our branches will be getting brand-new cardio equipment. That includes Matrix treadmills with immersive touchscreens, Life Fitness PowerMills, upright and recumbent bikes, and more. It's been years since we've made an investment like this, and we can't wait for you to experience the difference.

We're also expanding Kids Care, adding more family programming, and continuing to invest in what matters most: helping people of all ages feel healthy, supported, and connected.

Thank you for being part of our GPY family. We're proud of what we're building—and we're just getting started.
