Interior Department Selects Providence as Priority City to Connect Youth to the Great Outdoors!

Exciting news!! Our Providence YMCA has been selected as one of 50 cities nationwide for the First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let's Move! Outside initiative! The nationwide initiative aims to inspire young generations to learn about, explore, play, work and serve on public lands, such as local parks to federal lands and waters. The initiative will provide two years of funding for the Providence Metro YMCA to help coordinate efforts, facilitate collaboration, grow resources, and increase participation in outdoor programs and lands. To learn more about the initiative, click here.
