The Y’s Safety Around Water program equips children with the critical skills and confidence to stay safe in and around water, regardless of their swimming experience. In a fun and supportive environment, participants learn how to float, get to safety, and respond calmly in unexpected situations. Offered year-round at all six of our branches, this free program is part of our mission to prevent drowning and remove barriers to water safety education. By teaching lifesaving skills early, we help kids build the confidence they need to enjoy the water for a lifetime.
