The School’s Out curriculum follows the national YMCA-curriculum model:
- Arts and Humanities

We also consider the School’s Out program to be a partnership between our families and the YMCA. We feel strongly that parent involvement strengthens our programs, and we encourage parents/guardians to offer feedback, suggestions and evaluations.
Additionally, if you are interested in volunteering to help with biannual evaluations of the program or to be a liaison with the schools, please contact the School Age Child Care Director at 401-295-6501 for more information.
Statement of Purpose
Each child in the program is expected to grow developmentally in a socially diverse environment with other children. Children are encouraged to develop friendships and have fun. Youth are also encouraged to express their independence and individuality through various activities that reflect the YMCA’s character development values of Caring, Respect, Honesty, and Responsibility.
