Matter of Balance

This program helps reduce the fear of falling and gradually increase activity levels in adults over 60. A trained coach assists participants to set realistic goals for increasing activity, and suggestions for changing their environment to reduce the risk of falls and use exercise to improve strength and balance.

Enhance Fitness

This nationally recognized program treats arthritis through fun, laughter, friends, and exercise. A certified instructor focuses on increasing cardiovascular endurance, strength, balance and flexibility which can assist in reducing arthritic symptoms.

Arthritis Foundation Y Aquatics Program

This warm water exercise program created by the Arthritis Foundation is aimed at reducing pain and improving overall health in those who suffer from Arthritis. The program is suitable for every fitness level. All YMCA classes are held in a supportive and friendly environment that encourages social interaction.

Walking With Ease

Walking is something we all do naturally. Yet for those with arthritis pain this most elemental part of life can be dif cult. Walk with Ease helps people with arthritis better manage their pain. It is also ideal for anyone without arthritis who wants to make walking a part of their exercise routine.
