Overview

The Bayside Family YMCA Childcare programs provide children with a variety of experiences that will prepare them for a lifetime of learning. Physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth is encouraged in a nurturing, supportive environment. The programs are centered on the three-way relationship that exists among children, parents/ guardians, and staff.

There are a variety of programs, ranging from babysitting to licensed school-age care. Some of the programs include:

  • Primetime/Babysitting
  • School-Age After School Care
  • Full Day Care on Inservice Days and Some Holidays
  • Vacation Week Care

What's the biggest deterrent to your kids using alcohol or other drugs?  It's you.

Here are some facts:  Kids who learn from their parents about the risks of drugs are 36% less likely to smoke marijuana than kids who don't.

You are the most powerful influence in your child's daily life.  But, proactive parenting strategies rarely are instinctive, even for the best of parents.  That's why members of the BAY Team, Barrington's Prevention Task Force, are working to create succinct and helpful parenting tips.  These monthly flyers are created by parents for parents.
