Schools Out

Cranston YMCA’s Schools Out Program is our answer to every working Parents question about quality care for their child 52 weeks per year! For the times you can’t be there yourself, the YMCA supports your efforts to nurture your child’s healthy development. Our well-trained staff provides safe, affordable, high quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work. RI DCYF licenses the Cranston YMCA’s Schools Out Program. Curriculum includes arts & humanities, health & wellness, homework assistance and character development. Our program operates year round from school dismissal time to 6:00 PM and includes full days during school vacation weeks. We service Cranston schools and provide transportation from certain ones. Before school care is available for specified schools beginning at 6:30 AM. Our School’s Out program for Middle School children operates out of the Peter Pastore Youth Center at 155 Gansett Avenue, Cranston, RI.
