Providence Youth Services' YMCA On the Move
In response to America's growing health and well-being concerns Providence Youth Services has developed a mobile outreach component called Y on the Move. Our goal is to engage the youth and families of Providence in health and wellness activities that increase their physical fitness and help them combat the growing epidemic of childhood obesity and other related illnesses while having fun in a safe, supervised environment.
The Y on the Move program is a unique way of giving Providence's youth the right support and education on health and wellness by bringing the fun to you! With a specially designed Y on the Move Truck, we are able to visit schools, playgrounds, and other places around the community.
