Camp Massasoit & Cranston Y Summer Camps

 

Camp Massasoit Program is a 26 acre day camp on the Oak Reservoir in Johnston, RI. We offer a variety of activities including swim lessons, arts & crafts and an outdoor education center. Our camp programs are based on a carefully developed curriculum that promotes teamwork, and builds character, cooperation and self confidence. We strive to build a safe, caring environment where all children feel welcomed and accepted.

  • First time at camp or need a refresher? CLICK HERE to review important camp reminders before camp begins.

Camp Features:

  • Fun and enriching day camps for children ages 5-14
  • Full-day programs (9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Mon-Fri)
  • Pre-camp begins as early as 6:30 am!
  • Post-camp is available from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at the Cranston YMCA Peter Pastore Facility.
  • Healthy daily lunches and transportation

Call for Camp Staff!

The Cranston YMCA branch of the Greater Providence YMCA is always looking for camp counselors and specialists to work with children at our day camp, Camp Massasoit. Counselors must be able to provide leadership and supervision for school age children. Positions require that the health, safety and general well-being of the children is the first priority. Additionally, counselors and specialists are expected to implement and maintain a high quality, well-rounded, fun-filled camp experience for all.

Qualified candidates must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
